International Dog Day 2025

26. August 2025

In 2025 there will be more stations on the air than in any previous International Dog Day celebration! The support for Internationa Cat Day, earlier in August, is also on the rise - see Hamlog.Online/icd

Our Dog Day operations will be updated live on Hamlog.Online where there is information about stations on the air, logged contacts and your own progress towards Dog Day awards.

The USA team operating K2D is growing, too.

Hanz, of course, has been with International Dog Day on-air since the very beginning. This year he will have the station on the air in contests, as well.

New this year!

For 2025 International Dog Day stations will be using Hamlog Online.
Every station will upload every contact to Hamlog.Online . Four awards will be available on the Hamlog site to anyone making contacts with IDD stations.

Calling stations can check that they are "in the log" and see when a particular SES is due to be active, then review how many more contacts they need to get any one of the 4 awards by going to Hamlog.Online/idd

More stations were on the air in 2024 than ever before, supporting International Dog Day. This year there are even more, in more countries.

On this site we will be adding information information about this year's event - 26. August 2025 - with stories and pictures of operators and their dogs. There are stories from those who contacted Dog Day stations in 2024 and photos from them, too.

Of course, there are many ways anyone can help with the well-being of dogs everywhere.
